You're mating them in enclosures far too small with zero chance of the male escaping when he's done. This is why you are losing so many males. Is common sense.

I watched may be ALL existing matings videos of this species on RUclips. In all of them females shows exactly the same after successful insemination. It's very interesting! I'm looking forward to seeing this live when my female will grow up)

does your male rarely eat? mine is about the same size and it doesnt want to eat anything living or dead, its been a full month
